About Transfers
DFT (direct-to-film) transfers are made up of high-quality ink and adhesives that can be applied to any type of textile, including VC's FlexLight fabric and a wide range of cotton items.
How it Works
Specialized printers create full-colour logos which are printed on to a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) sheet, or "film". The film is then placed on top of any garment placed in a heat press machine, which provides the heat and pressure to activate the adhesive and transfer the printed design/logo to the garment.
A transfer can be applied to any garment that can lie flat and withstand the heat and pressure needed to properly cure the transfer on to the fabric.
Colour Matching
Logos are digitally printed, so can be full colour - including gradients.

The maximum numbers of transfers possible on any garment is 3 (more transfers = higher risk of error), which includes names/numbers.
Minimum orders
The minimum order for new transfer jobs is 15 units (5 units for repeat orders). You may include up to two different styles in the 15 unit minimum.
Timeline
The timeline for transferred gear is from 1-2 weeks, depending on the time of year and the complexity of your order, and assuming that the gear you are ordering is all in-stock. Please contact us for current timelines.
