Did you know that the first Canadian quidditch team was founded at McGill University in Montreal, Québec, in 2008? Coincidently, VC was founded in 1998 by McGill students! 

VC & Quidditch Canada Partnership

A global pandemic will not stop us from forming meaningful partnerships with like-minded organizations! Quidditch is a sport with a perfect mix of fun and serious, and which has a focus on both competition and community. After reading Quidditch Canada's statement, "Quidditch Canada in Solidarity with Black and Indigenous Communities", we knew this was an organization we wanted to be associated with.

About Quidditch Canada

Quidditch Canada was created in 2014 to lead, promote and advance the sport of quidditch in Canada. Quidditch is a mixed-gender, full contact sport.

Aside from organizing the national Canadian competitive league, Quidditch Canada has also created opportunities for the sport to be played in a variety of styles for a variety of audiences, including youth quidditch, recreational quidditch, low/no contact quidditch, and wheelchair quidditch. Quidditch Canada also oversees the National Team program, which competes at international events around the world.

Partnership Parameters

VC will be the Official Uniform Partner for the Team Canada program, and has also launched a Quidditch Canada online store. 

All quidditch teams are eligible for our Equity & Development Sponsorship, saving 15% on any order placed with VC.
