We did it!
WHAT. A. WEEK.
Was it just us, or did last week feel like a dream? Thousands of ultimate community members engaged with the Premier Ultimate to talk about the league's Player Sponsorship Program, and VC was lucky enough to be along for the ride.
Our Twitter feed was a complete pleasure to scroll through, filled with encouragement, support and gratitude as friends, family and fans from around the world came together to ensure that every single PUL player was sponsored.
COACHES SHINE
In a surprise bonus round, teams launched an addition to the program to show some love for the people on the sidelines that help make it all happen. Coach and in some cases team staff jerseys were unlocked once all of the players were sold out and raised another $20k in support!
OUR MIND IS BLOWN
What can we say? There are so many amazing stories that have been shared this week, some of which we highlighted in our PSP Twitter Action post. We're going to continue talking about this and helping the hype grow as the league's second season approaches (first games are played on April 4th and 5th). Why? Because we believe in doing all that we can: using our voice to promote womxn's ultimate, and show young athletes that they can be what they see out there on the field!
